Sand finish concrete is a very popular and desired finish. This finish feels and looks sort of like sand paper and can come in different levels of roughness or grit depending on the level of retarding agent that is used. Sand finish is achieved by using a lighter exposure retarding agent that exposes the sand after the concrete is pressure washed.
Exposed Aggregate is a finish that is aquired by using a retarding agent on the concrete that is pressure washed off the next day that exposes the aggregate in the concrete. There are many different variations of colors and styles that can be acheived by using different colors of concrete as well as different colors of pebbles or aggregate.
Concrete driveway Scorelines or Control Joints; it's an Industry Standard that concrete control joints are placed at a minimum of 8 to 10 feet on center covering the entire area of the new concrete driveway, walkway, sidewalk etc,. There are also many custom patterns and designs that we can create with scorelines like a checker board pattern or even a diamond pattern with a border. These joints can either be sawcut within 24 hours from the time the concrete driveway was poured or they can be tooled at the time the concrete driveway is poured.
